Transition in Long-Term Learning Curves and fMRI Analysis on Tower of Hanoi Task.

2018
In this research, we conducted an experiment with long-term learning using the "Tower of Hanoi" game. In the experiment, experiment participants learned "Tower of Hanoi" for 1.5 months. It consisted of 13 times learning experiments outside MRI and 3 times confirming experiments inside MRI. From the learning experiments, the degree of task performance was confirmed as a learning curve. In addition, brain activities were measured by fMRI in the confirming experiments, which were conducted before the specific learning experiments. Comparative analysis was performed on the transition of the learning curve during work learning and the fMRI analysis result. From the analyzed results, the learning curve data by participants showed learning convergence, and the brain activities before and after the learning were observed significant differences in the anterior cingulate cortex.
