Analysis of state of operation of asynchronous motor with stator slot frequency beat vibration

Low rotational speed vertical 800 kW asynchronous motors coupled with diagonal pump characterize qualitative change of housing vibrations that depend on slight load changes and motor frame assembling stress. The aim of this paper is to clarify the origin of beat stator vibrations and define particular conditions of motor operation that cause the beat phenomena.
