1987
The ameloblastroma is one of the most common odontogenic tumors. It has received much interest histologically and clinically. We recently experienced a case of ameloblastoma with interesting radiographic and histological findings. The patient was a 72 year old man. Radiological examination showed punctual or flaking metaplastic mineralization and the tumor extended from the right first molar region to the left third molar region. The histological examination showed a multilocular tumor surrounded by fibrous connective tissues with many fibrous bone in the interstice. After the operation, there has been no recurrence of the tumor and prognosis is good.
