The method for plasma treatment of a colloidal solution serves in particular for changing interfacial properties of various substrates, including a sol-gel solution. The object of the invention is to produce compact thinnest or less porous solid structures locally in the low temperature range of special colloidal solutions, in particular for the synthesis of materials in the form of layers or fibers. The invention relates to small-scaled material syntheses of colloidal dispersions, in particular Sol-gel solutions extended directly by a plasma treatment in the non-thermal equilibrium on the surface of the corresponding solution. In this case, each special colloidal liquid may be located directly as a wetting on a suitably treated surface, as small droplets, for example in the aerosol process but also in the form of a thread in the fiber spinning process in the low-scaled region of a corresponding magnitude, which is plasmaaktivierbar.
