Copper-ceria catalysts supported on NaX zeolite for CO oxidation
2017
Abstract The copper-ceria catalysts supported on NaX zeolite for CO oxidation were prepared using impregnation. The effects of Cu/Ce raito, total metal loading, impregnation duration and calcination temperature were systematically studied. All catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N 2 adsorption/desorption techniques and H 2 -temperature programmed reduction. The most efficient catalyst is the one doped with 12.4 wt% Cu and 18.6 wt% Ce, impregnated for 12 h and calcinated at 500 °C, giving a T 90% at around 150 °C. The excellent catalytic performance is a result of highly dispersed copper species and relatively large surface area and pore volume.
