he Hg1−xCdxTe1−ySey system: The existence region of the wurzite structure

Abstract The wurzite existence region in the quarternary system of Hg 1−x Cd x Te z−y Se y was defined for temperatures higher than 500°C. Below this temperature, the immiscibility region expands at the expense of the wurzite existence region. Above this temperature, the decreasing immiscibility region reveals a transition phase region of both wurzite and zinc blende structures and a single phase region of the zinc blende structure.
