Система очистки отходящих газов биореактора от биологического аэрозоля

Constructed is the system for exhaust gas decontamination, generated in the process of microorganism cultivation in a bioreactor. It consists of a filter cascade, vacuum pump, and a jacketed mist eliminator, connected by pipelines. Filtering module includes preliminary, fine, and ultrafine filters made of nickel. Put forward is the method for control and assessment of the filters efficacy, based on the comparison between particle index concentration values, registered in the equal gas volumes before and after filtering system transit. Performance efficiency of the designed decontamination system is validated by three years operational experience in the production of chemical cholera vaccine in case of Vibrio cholerae cultivating. The outlined recommendations can be applied in microbiological industry to vaccine and other biological preparation manufacturing.
