Moment method based analysis of dielectric-resonator antennas

1999
This paper analyzes dielectric resonator antennas based on electric and magnetic field integral equations. The integral equations are solved in the spatial domain using the method of moments. Thus the physics of radiation, surface waves and mutual coupling are all rigorously included into the model. The unknown currents on the surface of the resonator, the aperture, and the feed line are all expanded in RWG bases. Therefore the dielectric resonator and the aperture may be of arbitrary shape.
