Ignition heater control device

PURPOSE: To make it possible in an ignition heater of a firing device using gas, petroleum, etc., as fuel to prevent damage due to abnormal heating of the ignition heater to achieve a longer durability of the heater and to properly report the time for the replacement of the heater due to the degradation thereof by usage. CONSTITUTION: There are provided a resistance bridge 8 having a ceramic ignition heater 6 as a part of the constituent element thereof, a resistance value gradient detection unit 12 for monitoring rise temperature of the heater 6, a resistance bridge detection unit 11 for detecting a balanced state of the bridge 8, a power control unit 13 for controlling electric power, and a microcomputer 14. Rise temperature of a resistance body 6a is monitored by means of a control circuit 9, while surface radiation heat of a ceramic 6b is maintained at a constant temperature.
