The present invention discloses a method of using cold extrusion technology processing punch cavity of a roller, which roller press ram extrusion molding punch is sized and positioned a sleeve adapted to punch diameter, cold pressing rams and the roller punch into the blank into the positioning sleeve, using a hydraulic press ram extruded part shaped blank is pressed into the punch, the pressure relief after the desired depth of the pressing rams and exit punch to blank. The method of the present invention and a conventional punch turning roller are compared with the following characteristics: (1) extruding punch size precision can reach 8-9, to achieve a surface roughness Ra0.4μm. (2) ram extrusion technology difficulty is low, high production efficiency. (3) extruding punch size consistency. (4) extrusion line does cut forging material flow. (5) co-extrusion can be welded inside the loose material, the material density increase and ultimately increase the strength of the material.
