Letter to the Editor: Imaging monitoring of primary sclerosing cholangitis patients.
2021
The study by Eaton et al.1 reported that they prospectively compared magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with routine ultrasound in identifying the occurrence of perihilar cholangiocarcinoma in patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). They found that MRI could detect cholangiocarcinoma earlier than ultrasound, which was conducive to early treatment and the improvement of prognosis.
