Reinforcing the PPTA With Thermoplastic Bonded Fiber

This experiment was focused on a new type of thermoplastic bonded fiber Y,the influences of thermoplastic bonded fiber Y on physical strength,dielectric properties and the surface of the PPTA paper by orthogonal experiments were studied.The results showed that,the PPTA paper achieved the desired enhancement when the dosage the bonded fiber Y was 10%(on the whole moisture free fiber),the tensile index,tear index,elongation and compression strength were 77.03N.m / g,24.10mN.m2/ g,1.75% and 16.33Kv / mm respectiuely.The weight loss of paper was 9.01% when the temperature was 300℃.On the other side,the experiment also showed that among all the factors,the preheating temperature affected the strength and dielectric properties most,next was the pressure and the speed of roller,while the times of thermal pressing was least.the optimal conditions of thermal pressing were as follow: the preheating temperature was 180℃,the pressure was 14MPa,the times of thermal pressing was one,the speed of roller was 1r / min.
