Potential Issues With the Handling of Biologicals in a Hospital

Abstract A master student, who surveyed the procedures in a hospital pharmacy with regard to the handling of biologicals, identified several issues that might have jeopardized product quality. This case may be a tip of the iceberg and illustrates the urgent need for a better education of end-users about how to handle biologicals.
