There was held the choice of extractant for obtaining of oil extract from Hypericum perforatum herb using the following oils: sunflower, olive, corn. It was established that the greatest number of derivatives of chlorophyll is extracted into the olive oil. Bioavailability study indicated that extraction on the base of olive oil for 2 hours released 11.76 % amount of chlorophyll derivatives. The standardization of gelatine rectal capsules showed that according to criteria gelatin rectal capsules comply with the requirements of SP. There was conducted the validation assessment of the developed techniques of the spectrophotometric determination of the amount of chlorophyll in the Hypericum perforatum herb and oil extraction. The obtained results of evaluation of linearity, precision and accuracy showed that methods are valid and can be used in the assay of the developed dosage form. As a result of study of the stability of gelatin rectal capsules during storage at room temperature it was revealed that they are stable to storage for 18 months.
