Implementation of assessments conducted fire prevention measures in the Risk assessment Act of closed type storage timber

The occupational health and safety system in the Republic of Serbia is based on Council Directive 89/391/EEC, the Law on Safety and Health at Work and other regulations. The Law on health and safety at work promotes the principle of prevention of occupational risks at the workplace and regulates the obligation of the employer to produce a written Act on risk assessment. To make the timber storage safe in fire aspects, it is necessary to implement appropriate fire protection measures including primarily to conduct a proper assessment of the fire risks. The aim of the research is that the process of drafting the Act on risk assessment for timber storage includes the fire protection, i.e. assessment of fire risks.
