Twin turbo system having electrically driven compressors

There is provided an arrangement of an internal combustion engine having a sequential-parallel twin turbocharger, wherein at least one turbocharger having an electrical energy converter which can be selectively used as a motor for driving a compressor in the lower speed range of the internal combustion engine or as a generator for charging a battery connected. Furthermore, a method using the arrangement is provided.
