Benign metastasizing leiomyoma of the lung: a case report.

Benign metastasizing leiomyomas of the lung are very rare tumors. Patients are usually asymptomatic with incidental findings of pulmonary lesions. Typical radiographic findings include well-circumscribed solitary or multiple pulmonary nodules. Woman who have undergone hysterectomy for leiomyoma are most commonly afflicted. We report a case of leiomyoma of the lung diagnosed in a 31-year-old woman who had undergone myomectomy at the age of 24 for uterine leiomyoma.
