APLICACION GEOINFORMATICA PARA DISPOSITIVOS MOVILES CON FINES DE GESTION DE INFORMACION GEOESPACIAL DEL TRANSPORTE

En el presente trabajo se describen las principales etapas de diseno y desarrollo de una aplicacion geoinformatica para dispositivos moviles, mediante la cual se facilitan las tareas de gestion de la informacion geoespacial del transporte. Teniendo en cuenta que las tendencias en cuanto al desarrollo de aplicaciones de tipo geografico se orientan principalmente a servicios ofrecidos a traves de la Web y que su consumo mediante dispositivos moviles va en aumento, se propone el uso de la aplicacion desarrollada en operaciones tales como captura, proceso y transferencia de informacion geografica del sector transporte. Se realizo una evaluacion de las ventajas que representa el sistema operativo Android asi como las herramientas de programacion necesarias para la realizacion de aplicaciones moviles que permitan gestionar informacion geoespacial. Abstract: The present work describes the main stages of design and development of a mobile application whereby management tasks of transport geospatial information are facilitated. Given the trends in the development of geographic applications are mainly oriented to services offered through the Web and its use by mobile devices is increasing, the use of the application developed is proposed in operations such as capturing, processing and transferring geographic information in the transport sector. An assessment was performed of the advantages of the Android operating system and programming tools necessary for carrying out mobile applications that allow managing geospatial information.
