Struktur Komunitas dan Sebaran Lamun di Pulau Soop - Kota Sorong

2020
This study aims to analyze seagrass type and composter, seagrass closure, seagrass density, and seagrass distribution in the Waters of Soop Island, Sorong City, West Papua. The research method is explorative, where the data collection of diversity of types, compositions and densities is carried out using line transek. Data collection with Transek line is done at each station by perpendicular position with a coastline every 10 m. Each line transek is recorded at every 10 m, starting from the foreshore to tubir or a certain depth. Primary data include seagrass type, substrate type, density, and cover estimation as well as area coordinates and sampling points. Then the data is analyzed and made in the form of a map using Arc-gis 10.6 software. Based on the results of research in the Waters of Soop Island there are 7 types of seagrass, namely syringodium isoetifolium, Thalassia hemprici, Cymodocea serrulate, Thalassodendron ciliatum, Halophila ovalis, Enhalus acoroides and Halodule uninervis. The highest seagrass closure at the North soop island water research station was 51.58%, while the highest seagrass closure at the south research station of Soop island was 38.35%. Seagrass distribution area to the north and south of Soop Island Waters is about 2,665.00 m2.
