Sialadenitis crónica esclerosante (tumor de Küttner) en glándulas submaxilares relacionada con enfermedad de IgG4
2012
Chronic sclerosing sialadenitis or Kuttner tumour (KT) is a relatively uncommon disease of the salivary gland, a benign infl ammatory process of the salivary gland that mimics a malignant neoplasm clinically due to its presentation as a hard mass, usually occurring in the submandibular gland. The present report describes a patient with bilateral submandibular masses. Clinical investigations, cytologic, histopathologic and immunopathologic features of both submandibular glands show typically characteristic fi nding of IgG4 related chronic sclerosing sialadenitis.
