Synergistic efficacy of Bacillus subtilis sf 628 and prochloraz-manganese on tomato fusarium wilt

2011
Tomato fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.licopersici(sacc) snyderet Hansen is a common disease throughout tomato-growing areas. Its biological control can reduce residue of chemical fungicides on vegetables, which protects public health and natural ecological environment. This study aimed to evaluate synergistic efficacy of Bacillus subtilis sf 628 and prochloraz-manganese on tomato fusarium wilt in laboratory and in field. The results indicated that the inhibitory rate of sf 628 against F.oxysporum was 91.46%,the rate of prochloraz-manganese with concentrations of 0.01-10.00 mg/L was 15.19%-98.78%,and the synergistic efficacy was 58.54%-100.00% in laboratory. In the field trial, the synergistic efficacy was higher than 75% and showed no significant difference from that of common fungicide carbendazim.
