UMDS multipurpose multimedia distribution system

At present the systems of broadband wireless access have reached high levels of technological sophistication and constitute an important part of national telecommunications infrastructure in addition to cable, fiber-optic and satellite communications. A new strategic trend is the implementation of microwave technologies providing the synthesis between TV and Internet at a qualitatively higher level. This report describes the UMDS multipurpose multimedia distribution system based on technologies and engineering solutions applied in various versions of MITRIS.
