Práticas culturais de quatro estudantes de Pedagogia

Based on four trajectories of Pedagogy students from peripheral neighborhoods and families with low cultural capital ownership, this group is analyzed as it relates to different cultural practices (cinema, literature, music and visual arts). According to semi-directional interviews, four sociological profiles were elaborated and analyzed based on bourdieusiana sociology and the concepts of cultural capital and habitus. During the course of higher education, the students presented difficulties in the academic environment. Their cultural practices have points of approximation of what is considered legitimate (in music, literature, among others), although they occur occasionally and not lasting.
