Towards developing a tool for UX evaluation using facial expression

User Experience (UX) can be considered as a quality attribute of a system, defining whether the system is easy to adapt, efficient to use and comfortable. User experience evaluation can be used as a tool for determining the degree of user experience for a system or service. Among many existing UX evaluation tools, only a few are online based, easily usable and conducts real time analysis. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to design and develop a web based user experience evaluation tool using measurement of user emotions. To attain these, firstly we have gone through the existing literature. Secondly, we have proposed a conceptual framework. Thirdly, we have implemented the system using Affdex SDK. Finally, we have tested our tool with four participants. The evaluation study showed that our tool is effective and efficient.
