Studies on Removal of N and P in Eutrophic Water Bodies

2006
With the constant increase of the industrial and domestic sewage discharge, nitrogen, phosphorus and organic substances have kept going into the lake, reservoir and other water bodies, worsening the water quality, thriving the growth of algae, darkening the color, lessening transparency, raising the oxygen consumption and making the water body stinky. Water body eutrophication due to high concentration of N and P is now a global problem, making it difficult to meet the standard for potable water through normal treatment, so a rational and efficient way to remove N and P from water is especially important.
