Effect of Resilience on Anxiety of First-Line Nurses in the COVID-19 Designated Hospital/ 新型冠状病毒肺炎定点救治医院一线护士心理韧性对焦虑的影响研究

Objective: To examine the anxiety status of first-line nurses in the designated treatment hospital for COVID-19, and to analyze the influence of mental toughness on anxiety Methods: By convenient sampling, 308 first-line nurses from COVID-19 designated hospital in Yichang city were selected to conduct general information questionnaire, self-rating anxiety scale and 10-item resilience scale Results: The general anxiety score of the first-line nurses was 46 44±10 46, which was significantly higher than the Chinese norm (t= 25 594, P<0 001) There were 112 cases performed with anxiety(36 36%), mainly mild anxiety(23 70%) The resilience score of the first-line nurses was 25 74±6 29 Resilience was negatively correlated with anxiety (r= -0 483, P <0 001), and independently accounted for 20 9% of the total variationin anxiety Conclusion: The first-line nurses in the COVID-19 designated hospital have anxiety state, which is negatively correlated with resilience, suggesting that anxiety could bealleviated by improving mental toughness
