Microstrip antenna array adopting dielectric loading to reduce limited angle scanning

2010
The utility model relates to a microstrip antenna array adopting dielectric loading to reduce limited angle scanning. The microstrip antenna array comprises an upper layer dielectric plate, a dielectric substrate, microstrip patch antennas, support pillars, a metal bottom plate, a coaxial joint and a metal ground plate, wherein the metal ground plate is printed on the lower surface of the dielectric substrate, the metal bottom plate is clung to the bottom of the dielectric substrate, and the coaxial joint is fixed at the bottom of the metal bottom plate; the microstrip patch antennas are etched on the upper surface of the dielectric substrate; and the upper layer dielectric plate is positioned right above the dielectric substrate and connected with the dielectric substrate through the support pillars with the height of 0.48Lambda-0.52Lambda, and air is filled between the upper layer dielectric plate and the dielectric substrate. The technical scheme has a simple structure, is easy to produce and process, and can obtain accurate measurement results.
