On the dynamical contact between a plate and a unilateral elastic viscous-damped foundation

The paper deals with the problem of the dynamical contact between an elastic Kirchhoff plate and a unilateral elastic, viscous-damped, hysteretically damped foundation. After an introduction in which the current state and technical implications concerning the problem are presented, the local form of equilibrium equation is given. Next the equivalent problem weak formulation in space and time is presented. Finally, proofs about existence and uniqueness of problem solution are given.
