RESUMO A nutricao imunomoduladora vem sendo apontada como estrategia eficaz e atenuante de eventos adversos no periodo perioperatorio. Foi evidenciado melhora do quadro clinico geral, destacando, funcao imunologica, perfil inflamatorio e preservacao do melhor estado nutricional.     ABSTRACT The immunomodulatory nutrition has been indicated as an effective strategy and attenuating adverse events in the perioperative period. It was evidenced improvement of the general clinical picture, highlighting the immune function, inflammatory profile and preservation of the best nutritional status.
