BLISS in the Treatment of Lupus Nephritis.

The optimal treatment of lupus nephritis remains a vexing challenge for nephrologists. Induction therapy for patients with active disease usually includes cyclophosphamide or mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) in combination with corticosteroids. These treatments have improved outcomes. Yet, only 30%–50
