Clinical Antioxidational Study of Different Compound Prescription of TCM on Rat with Gastric Precancerous Lesion

2002
Objective:To investigate the effect of different compound prescription of Chinese Traditional Medicine(TCM) on rats with gastric precancerous lesion and approach its possible mechanism on antioxidation. Methods:Twelve weeks after the rat GPL model was established, the occurrence rate of moderate or severe dysplasia and tumor in rat which was treated respectively with Yiqi Fang, Huoxue Fang, Jiedu Fang and combination of the three was counted. At the same time, the levels of SOD/MDA in serum and gastric mucosa were observed. Results:The rate of moderate or severe dysplasia and tumor in Yiqi Fang Huoxue Fang and combination group was lower than that in model group(P 0.05 ).The content of SOD in serum/gastric mucosa in Yiqi Fang and combination group were higher than that in model group(P 0.01 ).The content of MDA in gastric mucosa were significantly lower in Yiqi Fang,Huoxue Fang and combination group than that in model group(P 0.05 ).Conclusion: Compound prescription of TCM could improve the pathological changes of gastic mucosa in GPL rats with the possible mechanism of anti-oxidation.
