La evolución del discurso de la Teología de la Liberación durante la dictadura chilena. El caso de los periódicos clandestinos No Podemos Callar y Policarpo

The main topic of my proposal is the way that liberation theology -as a form of christian interpretation- influences in a great deal some political dynamics, in this case, the resistance to dictatorship trough clandestine press. Likewise, it will be very important to understand if the discourse remains the same all along Pinochet's regime or if it changes; and if it does, how, when and why. In other words, to question in which way liberation theology begins to understand itself through political logic; mostly influenced by the historic moments of that time than through a religious view that goes well beyond the problems of the conjuncture -even understanding that theology of liberation tries to be as historical as possible. I will try to do this through the analysis of both christian clandestine journals, No Podemos Callar and Policarpo.
