Highly dense and thin composite-bonded magnets with spherical Sm2Fe17N3 fine powder

Abstract Anisotropic 270- μ m -thick composite-bonded magnets using the spherical Sm 2 Fe 17 N 3 fine powder together with HDDR- Nd 2 Fe 14 B can be obtained, and the value of ( BH ) max reached 128 kJ / m 3 , which is extremely higher than that of conventional isotropic Nd 2 Fe 14 B -bonded magnets. It was also confirmed that the thermal stability for the thin composite magnets was good.
