The Integrated Comparison and Analysis of Power Modes of Co-firing of Agricultural Residue with Coal and Biomass Gasification in Jiangsu

Agricultural residue is the main biomass resource in Jiangsu.It is an effective way to solve energy shortage and a series of problems by crop straw burning in rural areas,which utilized biomass for power generation.Co-firing of biomass with coal and biomass gasification technologies are the typical modes of power generation.At present,these technologies are usually separately studied in domestic and overseas.However,there is no systematic research to comparison and analysis of two technical routes.From aspects of fuel,feedstock system,power technologies,economic benefits and pollutant emission reduction,as well as the existing main problems,etc.,the advantage and disadvantage of various technical routes are synthetically compared and analysed on the basis of the existed cases of co-firing and gasification power stations in Jiangsu.Therefore,the appropriate development routes of these modes are discussed in terms of the study above.
