Performance-based reliability assessment of electromagnetic pumps

The main factors influencing the overhaul period of induction magnetic pumps are examined and analyzed. It is established on the basis of an analysis of the special features of the manufacturing and operation of the pumps that their operability is determined mainly by the reliability of the windings. The main damaging factors acting on the winding are noted. Expressions for calculating the failure rate of the channel and the turn and casing insulation are obtained.
