Irony Skills in Modern Chinese Verse——A Case Study of Poems of the Third Generation

Irony,a key skill of expression in modern Chinese verse,is not only a linguistic figure of speech,but also an attitude towards and a way of life.Taking poems of the third generation as an example,this paper attempts to analyze specific uses of irony in poems: verbal irony,parody irony,and existential irony,etc.
