Improving Chinese turnaround schools has been the paramount task for Chinese education administrators. One of the main reasons for this is the need for Chinese education administrators to ensure equity and equality in education, particularly given the reality that a large portion of Chinese society lives in rural areas. Various strategies have been used to transform turnaround schools in China, including standardizing public schools, establishing equalization in school funding, and finding effective strategies for such funding. Also, improving the quality of principals and teachers and amending admission policies for turnaround schools have been important strategies used by Chinese education administrators to transform turnaround schools.
