Integrated Development Strategy and Case Studies of Over-Pressured Carbonate Reservoirs Containing with H2S

Y is the deepest Upper Jurassic carbonate ramp limestone reservoir in Middle East. It is at approximately 3900 m in depth, slightly over-pressured, light oil and contains H2S concentrations requiring special materials for wells, gathering systems and production facilities. Almost all Y reservoirs in Middle East have not been put into production due to H2S and sour gas. Two adjacent Y reservoirs in B and R oilfield are planning to produce after appraised and production test.
