Comparison of Single-Vessel Long Offset Acquisition

Areas of the N.E. Atlantic margin are characterised by basalt flows. Unfortunately, for this area, standard offset ranges for seismic data (up to 6km) typically generate poor images of the base of the basalt and the sub-basalt geology.
