A method for making meat produced artificially, the method comprising: preparing a plurality of multicellular bodies comprising a plurality of non-human myocytes cohered each other; superimposing over a multicellular body adjacently on a substrate support plane; said multicellular bodies fused at least partly together to form a first layer; stacking more than 50 additional layers over the first layer; fusing the layers stacked to form a volume of meat produced artificially; and culturing the stacked layers to fuse the layers while the layers in an inner region of volume die so that most cells in the volume are dead after complete fusion between the layers, at least partially, and wherein the artificially produced meat is edible.
