A Diode Laser-Based Singlet Oxygen Monitor for Photodynamic Therapy; in- vitro and in- vivo Studies

Singlet oxygen is believed to be the active species in photodynamic therapy. We describe a real-time singlet oxygen monitor and its application to in-vivo studies on tumor-loaded rats and healthy human skin with ALA photosensitizer.
