A Century of Teaching and Healing accomplishes exactly what it sets out to do, namely, to tell the story of Creighton from the day it was born until the present. Who should buy and read this book? All of the living graduates, of course, and the faculty. It is so much an insider's story that it is difficult for someone not connected with Creighton to have a sense of proportion. To try to reduce 100 years of something as vital and expanding as a medical school and hospital to 500 pages is an impossible task, obviously.
