Interactive display apparatus and operating method thereof

PURPOSE: An interactive display apparatus and operation method thereof are provided to minimize malfunction according to the movement of a pointing apparatus by enabling a user to easily use interactive functions. CONSTITUTION: A capturing unit(201) captures a video includes the light of a pointing apparatus in which is displayed a projection screen and a projection video in which is displayed on the projection screen. A memory(204) stores the captured video. A sensing unit(202) determines coordinate information about the light of the pointing apparatus based on the captured video. A control unit(203) determines the location of the light of the pointing apparatus based on the coordinate information. When the light of the pointing apparatus is moved to the outside of the projection video, the control unit performs established operation.
