Evidence for clustering in coincidence gamma‐ray spectra from 300‐MeV/c pions on 27Al

A discussion of recent evidence for pion reaction and clustering from gamma‐ray spectra taken in coincidence with pions, protons, and deuterons from 300‐MeV/c pions on 27Al at LAMPF. The removal of particles equivalent to 7Li, 6Li, α, d, t, and single nucleons are the strongest lines in each of the spectra.
