By complementing traditional academic training with music training, students' intellectual, personal, physical and emotional development can be enhanced. From the industrial era, the educational system has relegated to the music to a purely recreational field and of minor importance in comparison to other areas of study. For this reason, educational institutions have for years ignored the link that this tool (music) has with the linguistic, mathematical, psychological, physiological and social development of people. Several studies have demonstrated the benefits that music can provide students to improve their school performance and personal development. Aware of the impact of music on the child, this work proposes the creation of a musical tool in order to stimulate the ability of the students from an early age, and give them the opportunity to learn within a dynamic and motivating educational environment. The designed tool consists of a glove that works in a rhythmic way by striking surfaces, generating six different percussion sounds linked to each one of the fingers and the palm of the hand. RITMOTIK aims to explore through music, the corporal expression in children, through movements that generate rhythm, stimulating their corporal, psychosocial and intellectual development, in addition to arousing their interest in music.
