Resposta temporal de parâmetros cardiovasculares e renais de idosos hipertensos submetidos ao treinamento físico

2019
Introduction: The regular practice of physical exercises contributes to the non-pharmacological treatment of arterial hypertension (HA) and offers favorable conditions for renal function. Objective: To evaluate the effect of training time on cardiovascular responses and renal function in elderly hypertensive patients. Methods: 19 volunteers aged 62 ± 1.6 years with hypertension underwent a 3-month physical training program (TF). At the end of each month of TF, heart rate (HR) and blood pressure (BP) were assessed at rest, during and in the recovery of the exercise session. Urinary and blood collection was also performed at the end of each month of TF to assess renal function. Results: HR recovery was faster at the end of the 2nd month of training (90 ± 2.9bpm), remaining in the 3rd month (88 ± 2.5bpm), (p <0.01), when compared to the end of the 1st month (98 ± 2.3bpm). The recovery of diastolic blood pressure was faster in the second month (82 ± 0.9 mmHg) and in the third month (79 ± 1.1) compared to the first month (83 ± 0.5 mmHg) of TF. The glomerular filtration rate was significantly higher from the second month of training. Conclusions: This study showed that TF was effective in the recovery of HR and PA from the 2nd month of TF, and, at the end of the 2nd month of TF, there is an improvement in renal function.
