A New Car Radio with Recording and Playback Functions

The paper describes a high performance car radio and the recording and playback features in the radio. These features allow the driver who has failed to hear some important information to listen to the missed words again. It is based on speech compression and reproduction techniques. In this paper some speech compression techniques are discussed.
