Probleme und Perspektiven bei der Nutzung moderner Informationstechnologien für die universitäre Lehre
1998
Hypermedia systems consist of media teachnology based on digitalisation and compression which integrates various materials and media in one place. In addition they offer possibilities for interaction which traditional media, such as, for example, video and film or print media, do not. The design and use of such hypermedia systems requires, however, a great deal of time and energy and poses technical problems. Tools which make representation and presentation of various teaching materials easier are not at our disposal. Moreover, the interactivity between multimedia systems is used to only a small extent. Core problem areas will be analysed and perspectives for the development of multimedia tools for teaching and study highlighted in the light of ergonomic and psychological insights into computer-assisted learning processes.
