Competencia discursiva escrita en los niveles Avanzado (B2) y Dominio (C1): la unidad textual en los manuales de ELE

This work shows two complementary approaches of teaching written discourse competence
in ELE student books: the grammatical and the communicative perspective. The aim of these
paper is twofold: 1) we present the results of the analysis of several ELE student books of
advanced (B2) and domain (C1) levels; and 2) we provide guidelines for better use of these
writing activities in the ELE classroom.
