Collagenous Colitis with Protracted Course and Fatal Evolution: Report of a Case

Summary We report the case of a female patient who suffered from collagenous colitis for 13 years, the complications of which may have contributed to her death. The disease was associated with seropositive rheumatoid arthritis and Sjogren's syndrome. Cases of collagenous colitis with a course leading to death have not been reported in the literature, to the best of our knowledge.
